Happy Tuesday, friends! We’re beyond excited to share our newest wedding with you today! Liz and Herb are seriously one of the sweetest couples. You may remember them from their sunflower engagement session, and their El Chorro wedding day couldn’t have matched their bright, warm, sun-filled personalities any better.
Throughout each part of the day, one thing was so apparent: their overflowing love for each other, and their family and friends, too. Their tear-filled vows and exchanging of rings had everyone sniffling in the crowd. But there was another moment we’ll never forget, because we were some of the only people there: the moment Herb saw his bride for the first time. He was overcome with emotion in a way we rarely see. It was so powerful that it brought us to tears behind the camera, too.
Their day was perfectly strewn together by the always amazing Jenni with Imoni Events. Her entire team worked so diligently to create a ceremony and reception that looked so effortless thanks to the floral genius of Sarah’s Garden. Freed Hands blew us away with the beautiful calligraphy throughout each invitation and place setting. And we can never thank the team at El Chorro enough for their impeccable service and dedication to serving each couple that says “I Do” on their property. The night was capped off with mouth-watering ice cream sandwiches from The Baked Bear instead of cake! How fun is that?! (We made sure to sneak a bite before the night was over! Snickerdoodle with coffee ice cream for Jordan. Funfetti and cookies ‘n’ cream for Amy.) We also can’t forget the team that kept the party going: Sapphire Sky! These guys are ROCK. STARS. and so much fun. They made sure the guests (and Jordan) were on their feet dancing all night long!
Liz and Herb, thank you for giving us the chance to bear witness to one of the most important days of your life, and trusting us with the responsibility of preserving it for generations to come — and for being so down to earth and joyful every single second of it. We loved you both before last weekend. We just love you even more now!
