This family session was extra special to me because this is MY family! That little cutie is my one and only niece, Olivia, or, as we in the fam call her, Livy. And those two good-lookin’ grownups with her are my brother + sister in law. It seems like just yesterday I was cuddling Liv in the hospital room introducing her to her new Auntie Amy, smelling that newborn smell and taking pictures of her tiny little feet, and now here we are already taking pictures to show off her two adorable bottom teeth, her crawling skills and her big personality. Jordan came along to Liv-wrangle (and steal some extra uncle time) and oh boy, the things we did to get her to laugh. These were including, but not limited to, 180º hop turns, peekaboo with the camera, balancing her favorite giraffe, Sophie, on my head and clapping every time mama sang “The Ants Go Marching.” I am taken aback by how fast the time is going, and am so glad I had the chance to capture her at this moment in her life and freeze time for a little while.
