Oh friends, we’re SO excited to share this gorgeous Country Club at DC Ranch Wedding with you today! We were so excited to be back in Arizona shooting a beautiful Scottsdale wedding again just minutes from where we used to live. Even though we LOVE living in Nashville now, this little corner of the desert still feels like home to us too, and it just felt so good to be back in our old stomping grounds.
In our opinion, the Country Club at DC Ranch is one of the very best wedding venues in Scottsdale, so it’s no wonder Rachel and Bryan picked it for their stunning destination wedding. This sweet couple is from Chicago, so almost everyone traveled in for the big day, and it was such an honor capturing it all for them. Their family made us feel like family, and the creative team knocked this one out of the park and made it so much fun to photograph, thanks to the talented Amy Mancuso who lead the day and breathtaking floral by Juliet Le Fleur.
When Jordan had a moment alone with Bryan, what struck Jordan is that on a day that’s supposed to be all about the bride and groom, every word this groom spoke was wrapped in the utmost gratitude for everyone around him. As they talked together in the car, Bryan started sharing with Jordan how humbled he felt by all the the time their guests took to travel in from all over the country, for every beautiful detail, for all the hard work, resources, talent and planning that were invested to create an event like this. He didn’t take a single moment of their day for granted. And what we noticed was that was a theme. Rachel’s mom was so encouraging and kind and took care of us like we were her own. Rachel’s dad took the time to publicly thank every vendor by name in his speech. Rachel had prepared handwritten notes of thanks for us on her own wedding day. The entire family was so warm and thoughtful and kind and prepared the most incredible celebration for everyone involved.
Rachel and Bryan, thank you for choosing is to be your wedding photographers. It was truly an honor to capture your beautiful day and be honorary members of your family. We have SO many favorite photos that it was hard to narrow them down for this post. We hope you love them as much as we do! Congratulations, you two!
