Wanna know something fun? This gorgeous El Chorro vow renewal was the very last event we shot before we welcomed our sweet Baby Beckett into the world! Amy was 35 weeks pregnant, but we knew we couldn’t miss the opportunity to capture this sweet couple’s beautiful day. Thank goodness it was January in Scottsdale! Even though Amy felt as big as a house, the weather was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple or a more talented creative team. We took so much time off to relish every minute with our little guy, so we’re so excited to finally be able to share these images with you!
Courtney and Nick celebrated their upcoming five-year wedding anniversary with an intimate, al fresco vow renewal alongside some of their closest family, friends and their adorable two little boys, Slater and Brody. It’s amazing how much can change in five years! Their two little guys were so cute, full of energy and totally stole the show in their matching bowties and suspenders. Their presence there just made it extra special.
El Chorro was the perfect backdrop for Courtney and Nick’s vow renewal and Herb Garden dinner under the stars. Sam with Revel Wedding Co brought the day to life with a color rich palette filled with blues, blacks, plums, rusty-blush and burnt orange tones. The vow renewal view was breathtaking. The iconic El Chorro fireplace was surrounded by black velvet chairs and enveloped in gorgeous candlelight. The personalization of the al fresco dinner included individual place settings (thanks to Celebrations in Paper!), velvet napkins, beautiful mini tarts and crisp rose at every seat, as the guests shared their favorite memories and sentiments with Courtney and Nick. Lux Wedding Florist joined Sam to design stunning floral displays for the vow renewal and garden reception, as well as lush bouquets for Courtney and her bridesmaids, who were beautifully styled by Court Montes and Monica Troyer.
To end the evening, guests were treated to a decadent dessert display created by the incredible, A Bakeshop team. Each cake was handcrafted with fresh fruits, dripping icing and pops of floral (aka a pregnant girl’s dream!) They actually sent us home with extra cake that night. Twist our arm, right?! These are our kind of people!
Courtney and Nick, it was such a joy for us to witness the love you both have for each other and your sweet boys. We were honored to celebrate this milestone of your love! Here are just a few of our many favorites!
