Sometimes romance can be found in the littlest details. The overwhelming scent of a fresh picked rose. The art of a soft brushstroke. Or the way a groom sees the spark in his bride’s eye from the end of the aisle. At our January #AJWorkshop, the incredibly talented Ashley Gain of Ashley Gain Weddings took inspiration from all things romance and mixed it with authentic hand-crafted design to bring a styled shoot that left us swooning. We’ve been dying to share it with you since the workshop, but we had to keep all the photos under warps until today! We’re so honored to see the images featured on Ruffled today, and so excited to share them with you!
The entire creative team knocked this shoot out of the park. Out of the universe, really! Every detail of this styled shoot just screamed romance. Well, maybe more like powerfully whispered. The soft and delicate the florals and details designed by Flower Studio were the perfect touch. The combination of creme, rose and surrounding greenery And we couldn’t get enough of the Casa de Perrin vintage china. Can we just say, in our dream world, we’d have these pieces all over our house. All. the. time.
There were so many elements that made this styled shoot extra special. Not only was this the first workshop shoot where we went outside, Ashley also had brilliant idea of incorporating bridesmaids, too! We loved getting to work with four models instead of two for this one! Their Jenny Yoo dresses were so dreamy, and the girls were so fun to work with. You might even recognize sweet Riane, who was one of our past AJ Workshop attendees!
Our beautiful bride and groom, Shay and Brian, seriously rocked it in front of the camera and were such great sports. You’d never know by looking at the photos that they had 18 cameras pointing in their direction! They’re a super sweet real-life married couple, and just full of so much kindness, warmth, grace and joy.
The entire shoot, from the design to the people, was one big dream, and we’re just so excited to be able to share these with you! Ashley, thank you, and the entire team, for bringing your magic to our #AJWorkshop. We truly couldn’t have even wished for a more breathtaking environment to share with our attendees. Your talent is beyond words. We love you, girl!
