When we were little, our families had, let’s call it, different philosophies on family photos. Jordan’s family took them every once-in-a-awhile, but didn’t make a big deal of it. If we had a few good ones, that was enough. Why have more photos than frames, right? Hence, there’s some, but little evidence that Jordan was a child. In comparison, like a bunch of John Wayne impersonators, Amy’s family played quickdraw with their cameras at every family event (and still do) and no one was spared. Whether you were eating or sleeping — heck! — as long as you were breathing, you were fair game in her house — and still are. Either way, we both cherish every photo that we have of our families because, at the end of the day, as our memories fade, they’re all we’ve got.
So, when Maegan contacted us about her 2013 family photos, the first ones with the newest edition to her family, we jumped at the chance to help be a small part of her memories. She’s got three cute little ones with buckets of energy and mountains of curiosity, but amazingly we got them to all look at the camera and smile at the same time — which, if you’ve ever done family photos for/with a seven-month-old, you know is no small feat. We laughed so much together and braved the cold like champions, but Jordan was the real winner on the day, because he got to spend some time exploring tractors with four-year-old Brody. For a few boys, what could be better?! Maegan, Sean, and kiddos, thanks for letting us hang with you last week. Here’s a sneak peek of our time together…
