They met in college, a time of football games and frat parties, study sessions and sleeping in. He had his eye on her from the moment he saw her. It was her smile, no doubt, that captivated him, the pure, unadulterated joy that her laughter carries into every room she enters. She wasn’t sure about him at first, but once she got to know him, she was hooked. It had to be his warmth that convinced her, that raw, genuine kindness that’s so fleeting in today’s world. They’ve been inseparable since those early college days.
Last year, Ted and Christina got engaged and made. our. day. when they called us from Disneyland (one of our favorite places on Earth) to ask us the one question EVERY photographer dies to hear: “We’re engaged! We haven’t set a date yet, but we’re not getting married without YOU there! Tell us when you’re available and that’s the date!”
And then we almost died. Of excitement. And honor.
Last weekend, twelve months later, Ted and Christina made the inseparable unbreakable in an intimate ceremony on a cool Arizona evening, and we had the privilege of capturing the next chapter of their love story every step of the way. Christina and Ted, thank you for trusting us with your memories and sharing your sweet hearts with us. You’re both beautiful and two people we’re humbled to call friends. We love you. Here’s a sneak peek of your magical day…
We love this sweet moment when Christina’s mom saw her with her dress and veil on for the very first time.
Christina and Ted wrote handwritten letters to each other the night before their wedding and read them before their first look.
Ted’s reaction to seeing Christina for the first time during their first look was priceless.
We shot Katie and Todd’s wedding last year and now they’re expecting their first child, a little baby girl, next spring! Congrats, you guys!
