She said something that we’d never heard before… and we’ll never forget.
A light veil of clouds covered the desert sun. Enveloping the guests. And embracing the bride and groom. Like a hug. From Heaven. He stood across from her, tall and strong, wearing a secure smile, a quiet confidence, and, of course, a sharp black tuxedo. A classic look for an all-American man. She looked back (and slightly up) at him, in her white dress and long, flowing veil. With bright, hopeful, adoring eyes. Trusting hands. A gentle heart. And an eager soul.
What I’m most looking forward to… is serving together
Because beauty isn’t in the eye of the beholder. True beauty is objective. It’s the overflow of a servant’s heart, the outstretch of giver’s hands, and why, when two people like them become one, it has the impact of three, that not only can’t be broken, but is poised, primed, and prepared to impact and influence the world… together.
Ashley and Scott, thank you for trusting us with the day you prayed for. We love you, and hope that when you look at these moments and memories, now and forever, you’ll always be reminded of why it was worth the wait.
