The beauty of being a husband and wife team is that if one of us looks like a complete fool on the job, the other one is right there with a camera to make sure the moment is frozen in time for all of eternity. No matter how ridiculous we look, these images are a great reminder for us that we have the best job (and the best clients!) in the world. Every once in a while, we love to go through our files and share a little glimpse into our behind the scenes world with you.
We’re not exactly sure what is happening in this photo, but it looks to us like Maureen and Amy could have their very own Vaudeville act.
While it looks like Amy is focusing on that cute couple in front of her, she’s actually focusing on not falling out of the stands. It’s hard to tell, but it was a long way down.
Nothing says romance like a good ol’ photo bomb.
Jordan is pretty much a photography ninja. As you can see on the left, he can balance the weight of an entire wedding dress with one hand tied behind his back. If that isn’t impressive enough, check out that mad ninja move on the right.
It isn’t uncommon to show up to a shoot and find out that Amy is matching our subject. Jordan is convinced she calls the night before the way you used to call your best friend in middle school to make it happen.
Did we mention Jordan is a photography ninja? Look at him blend right into that bush. All he needs is some face paint and he’d be giving Peeta Mellark a run for his money.
Mother Nature made sure we had the perfect wind machine out for this cute couple’s engagement session.
If it means getting the shot, we aren’t afraid to kneel in a pile of rose petals. Or a pile of anything, really! We’ve scaled walls, squatted in bushes, climbed ladders and ducked under tree branches to get the perfect shot, and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon!
