From the moment we met Katie and Todd, we just clicked. It felt like we had been friends for years as we discussed their love story and their wedding details over coffee back in the fall. As Katie described the vision for her wedding, full of bright, happy colors and personal details, we felt more and more excited to be a part of it. Spring snuck up on us before we knew it, and the wedding was better than we could have even imagined. Katie and Todd are one of those special couples. They are perfect together. So in love. Truly best friends. The entire day was filled with overwhelming joy and emotion, and we felt so honored to be able to tell their wedding day story. Here’s a little look at some of our favorites:

Amy met up with Katie and the girls at Vu Salon. The salon was filled with laughter, plenty of mimosas, and retellings of old memories. The ladies at Vu did an amazing job with everyone’s hair and makeup.

Sophia, Katie and Todd’s flower girl, joined the bridesmaids at the salon. Is she precious or what?

Katie incorporated so many personal details throughout the day, including her grandmother’s antique broach to pin on her bouquet.

After we finished up at the salon, we all headed to SunRidge Canyon to prepare for Katie and Todd’s First Look.

While Amy was with the girls, Jordan was hanging with the guys as Todd got ready at a gorgeous private residence in Fountain Hills. The light was divine, and Jordan took full advantage. Todd, you are a stud.

We absolutely love when couples opt to do a First Look before the ceremony. It’s such an intimate and beautiful moment. And it allows us plenty of time to take great portraits of the bride and groom. Katie and Todd’s First Look was so sweet.

We loved the bright florals from Fountain Hills Flower and Gift Shoppe  that complimented the bridesmaids dresses to a tee.

And the shoes! Ugh! How cute are these?

One of our favorite moments from the day:

Katie and Todd’s entire bridal party was awesome to work with. They were so thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire day.

The guys’ suits were so sharp.

The ceremony was very sweet and emotional.

After the ceremony, we snuck away for a few more portraits before Katie and Todd ventured off to enjoy cocktail hour.

Katie and Todd had so many cute details, and a lovebird design carried throughout the decor.

This was one of the most brilliant and unique guestbooks I’ve ever seen. Guests stamped a leaf and signed their name on the tree. It will be such a cute memento to have in their home.

The reception details pulled in all of the bright, happy colors and set the perfect mood.

The  Little Sugar Shack  did a great job with their cake.

Katie and Todd entered the reception to a standing ovation from all of their friends and family.

Katie’s dad started things off with a heartfelt toast.

And Katie’s sister knocked it out of the park with one of the funniest maid of honor speeches we’ve ever heard. The whole place was howling.

The rest of the night, Katie and Todd, and all of their family and friends danced the night away thanks to DJ Ray.

This group knew how to p-a-r-t-y!

Katie and Todd’s grand exit through sparklers was the perfect end of a perfect day.
