We have the best job ever. Period. End of story. If only every little kid knew that being a ballerina or an astronaut isn’t nearly as fun as being married wedding photographers. If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a wedding day, here’s a little peak into our world.
Amy will squeeze herself into just about any space you can imagine to get the shot she wants. Her sweet ninja moves really come in handy at the salon on a wedding day.
Jordan is the muscle of this operation. He gets in and gets the job done. Here he can be seen moving the furniture like the Incredible Hulk in our bride’s hotel room (to cut out the clutter in an image, of course) and testing the light for a sparkler exit.
Speaking of testing the light, Jordan is a our resident light-testing expert. I believe this next image was automatic response to the command, “Pretend you’re the bride having an I’m-getting-married-moment with your maid of honor!”
While we do slightly obsess about nailing the exposure, grabbing the best angles and catching the perfect light in every shot, most of the day it’s hard to wipe the smiles from our faces. We get to work with the coolest couples on earth. Nothing compares to that.
