Where do we begin? With thank you. And we don’t deserve it. That’s where. Ever since our first anniversary session with Annamarie last summer in Venice, Italy, she’s been more than a friend to us. She’s been a supporter and an encourager, a late-night talk-it-outer and an all-the-time talk-it-thorougher; kind, gentle, safe ears and a pure, warm, welcoming heart. She’s a thoughtful text message when we least expect it, a prayer warrior when we most need it, and one of our friends that reminds us how much God loves us… just because He put her in our life.
Present, everyday, in-the-moment playfulness
threaded with a deep, sincere, ethereal love.
Annamarie, thank you, from the bottom of our heart and the depths of our soul for being the kind of friend whose positive presence in our life feeds both. We cherish your dreamy, romantic style because it captures the truest love. One that we had to see through your eyes before we could even put it into words ourselves. Yet there it is: present, everyday, in-the-moment playfulness threaded with a deep, sincere, ethereal love.
But even more than painting a picture of our hearts for each other with your lens, when you first posted our session on your blog a few days ago, you made us cry before we even saw the photos. With everything you said, but especially when you wrote, “Amy and Jordan have this way of making you feel like you’re always enough exactly as you are, while simultaneously making you want to be the very best you can be.” The fact that you feel that, might be the thing (to date) that we’re most proud of in this world. That touched us more than you’ll ever know.
And with year five in Venice, and year six in Charleston, we’re going to have to start dreaming right now about where we’ll be for year seven. Thank you, Anna. For everything.
