Ooh it feels SO good to be back! We’ve been photographing desert engagement sessions in Arizona for over a decade, but ever since we moved to Nashville, all of our sessions have been destinations in other parts of the country, so it felt so good to be back in our “home turf” for this one! We, of course, always love getting to shoot in new places because it’s inspiring and stimulating and sparks our creativity, but there’s also nothing like coming “home” to the desert. It feels like wearing that favorite pair of jeans that fit just right. And nothing can beat that beautiful desert light at the end of the day. Oh, how we’ve missed that magical desert light!
It feels so good to be back in action doing what we love, especially for two people we love. Jill is like family to us, and when she and Payton got engaged, we just couldn’t imagine anyone else being their photographer! The love between these two is undeniable. They truly light up around each other and we couldn’t be happier for them to begin their new lives together! They’re both from Missouri, which is where their wedding will be later this spring, so we were extra excited when they said they’d be able to meet us in Arizona for their destination engagement session! We got gorgeous weather, what we like to call “Beyonce wind” and a couple who seriously glows around each other. What could be better?!
Jill and Payton, you made our job way too easy! We couldn’t be happier for you both finding your “person” in each other. The way you love and out-serve each other, honor God in your relationship and cherish each other is so beautiful, and we can’t wait to see you say “I do!” in just a few more months! It was SO hard to narrow down our favorites, but we hope you love them as much as we do! We love you guys!!
