We are SO excited to share today’s lifestyle in-home engagement session with you today! We’ve been looking forward to this shoot ever since we Zoomed with Dani to meet her for the first time and noticed she was Zooming us from a mostly empty home. She sweetly explained it was new and she was still waiting on furniture to arrive, and even though our call was after dark, we could just tell it was going to be the perfect place for a session. We weren’t even off the original call before we were already dreaming up their engagement session in that beautiful space! The couch arrived just in time and we loved having so much room to work with! We get so inspired when we get to shoot in new locations, so you could imagine this session was inspiration overload!
When we found out Eric is an Air Force pilot, we felt extra honored to get to serve one of our own servicemen. The Air Force is especially close to our heart as Amy’s uncle is a graduate of The Air Force Academy and getting to see him walk across the graduation stage and shake the president’s hand in person was a moment we’ll never forget. We’re so thankful for all our men and women in uniform and the sacrifices they and their families make day in and day out.
Eric is a commercial pilot now, so we had a lot of fun asking him all about pilot life and mostly just marveling over how much he looks like Batman (aka Bruce Wayne!) Wait until you get to the photos of him in the suit! Does he look like Christian Bale or what?! Once we saw it, we couldn’t unsee it!
Dani and Eric, you’re the kind of couple that have us pinching ourselves that we get to call this “work.” We had so much fun with you two, and this session just makes us even more excited for your El Chorro wedding this fall! We have way too many favorites, but we hope you love looking at them as much as we loved creating them!
