We’re so excited to share our very last session before our baby boy arrives with you today! (That still feels surreal to write!) It seems like we were just sharing the news that we’re going to be parents, and here we are, already at the finish line! We really couldn’t have hand-picked a more perfect session to wrap this season up with: a romantic desert maternity session for one of our past AJ Brides!
It’s hard to believe that Allie and Jon became part of the AJ Bride Family FIVE YEARS ago! We met with them only a few months after we left our teaching jobs to take our photography business full time, a memory that still feels so fresh in our mind to this day. We still so clearly remember their classic car engagement session and their beautiful blush wedding day and have loved following along throughout their first four years of marriage. Just like us, Allie & Jon have a zest for travel, and it’s been so fun keeping up with them and all their adventures over the years.
It’s such cool timing that we’re both embarking on our greatest adventure at the same time: parenthood! Allie and Jon are expecting their first baby, just like us, and it also happens to be a BOY! They’ll only be a few months apart! Allie and Jon are a hometown couple right here in Scottsdale, and we love that we both share a love for the beauty of the desert. It seemed like the perfect place to celebrate this new sweet season of anticipation for them.
After having the privilege of capturing the biggest milestones in their relationship so far, we were so honored to be able to freeze this precious time in their lives. Our relationships with our couples (ones that extend far beyond the wedding day) have become one of the biggest blessings of this job, and one of the greatest joys has been watching so many of our couples begin families of their own.
