Last fall, our wedding season kicked off with Lindsay & Casey’s L’Auberge Sedona wedding, and boy, was that a way to begin!
Have you ever met someone that you’re convinced was a Disney princess in disguise? That’s exactly how we felt from the moment we met Lindsay. It was like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White all combined to be one super princess. We wouldn’t have been surprised to see tiny forest animals come out to help her get dressed! From her infectious joy, to her natural beauty and the enchanting Sedona forest backdrop of their wedding, it was clear that Lindsay and Casey really are a real-life fairytale.
When we found out their wedding was going to be featured on Wedding Chicks, we couldn’t be more excited to watch their story unfold one more time!
Kim with Simply Elegant Events created a blush and blue dream that had our photographer hearts pitter-pattering all day. The floral robes, precious flower girls (bearing their flower crowns of course) and the bridal party signs were just a few of our favorite details throughout the day. Not to mention the whimsical reception set up that made us feel like we were in an episode of one of our favorite shows, Parenthood, with the wooden tables surrounded by twinkling lights. Events by Showstoppers did an amazing job creating the perfect bouquets and centerpieces to add to the dreaminess of the forest backdrop.
We can’t even begin to explain how stunning the grounds are of the L’Auberge de Sedona. Every where we turned there was another breathtaking spot we couldn’t wait to shoot.
Aside from the beautiful details and location of the day, nothing could steal the thunder from the love shown by Lindsay and Casey. Not just to each other, but to everyone they encountered. These two are full of so much joy and kindness and we were just honored to be a part of their family for a day.
