The first time we met Kelli and Sean, it was over Skype and about 9:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. That part is totally normal for us when we meet with clients on the other side of the country. What’s not entirely common is when our brides (and grooms, for that matter) are planning on going back to the office after the meeting. For Kelli, though, a hard-working lawyer inside the beltway of our nation’s capital (Washington D.C.) it’s normal. It also makes her somewhat of a real-life Olivia Pope.
The biggest difference between Kelli and Ms. Pope, though, is that Kelli is also a contender for the Miss Congeniality award. In life. Every person who toasted the bride and groom at their wedding dinner made mention of all the friends Kelli has, not by dumb luck or happenstance, but because she genuinely cares about people. Her dad even remarked that just the day before the wedding, Kelli invited someone she’d just met to her wedding the next day. That’s just the kind of person she is. Kind. Thoughtful. Considerate. The type of person who had every wedding vendor talking behind her back — about how excited they were to be part of her wedding. In an industry that’s produced TV shows like Bridezillas, what a delightful contrast Kelli was… and is. Sean, we love you, too — even with all the goofy faces you made in-beween frames. You better believe we’re indulging a special “Bloopers & Outtakes” section of your gallery 😉 Keep making Kelli laugh through marriage, man. She lights up even more than usual when she’s with you.
Kelli and Sean, your outdoor wedding at the Royal Palms was an event your East Coast friends and family will never forget. Between the incredible Kayla from Some Like It Classic as your event designer and the incomparable Tamara from Petal Pusher on florals, your day couldn’t have been a better reflection of you two: fun, inviting and beautiful. Thank you for giving us the honor of being at your side as you made memories that will last a lifetime — and beyond. We hope you love looking back on them as much as we loved being there with you.
