All the guests had taken their seats. They were anxiously awaiting a glimpse of a couple so magnetic and so full of life that they’d each been touched by, and couldn’t wait to see two people they loved so much finally tie the knot. Meghan and Ben had left the icy snow of Chicago and traded it for a day filled with warmth and sunshine, and it just couldn’t have been more fitting for a couple filled with so much love. The guests shielded their eyes from the bright sun as they looked behind them, just as the music started to play. Ben and his boys entered, all donning shades, looking more like the Men in Black than a row of groomsmen, with just as much swag, and as the music got louder, one by one, the ladies came down the aisle, too. But they didn’t walk. They danced. With smiles on their faces and a bounce in their step, each bridesmaid danced down the aisle and made it clear to everyone that this was a celebration. A party. A. Time. For. Fun. The guests arose to see Meghan arm-in-arm with her dad, and as the two of them danced their way to Meghan’s future, there was nothing more perfect in the world.
Meghan and Ben stole our heart from the moment we met with them over coffee and they haven’t given it back since. They made us laugh so hard we cried just minutes into our time together, and as they began to describe their vision for their El Chorro wedding day, we started drooling at the thought of everything that was to come. We’ve been looking forward to this day for so long, and had set such high expectations for what it might be like. And then all those expectations were shattered. Because it was SO much better than we’d even imagined, and it was truly one of those days that we wanted to slow down and stop time for as long as we could just to soak it all in. A day we wished we could play on repeat.
Every person at this wedding made us feel like family. They were warm, playful, loving, and kind. They were focused on all the right things and made sure the entire day felt like a true celebration. The details and design by our sweet friends at Petal Pushers were some of our favorite of all time, and with Some Like it Classic running the show, everything ran like clockwork. It really was the perfect day in every way, and we feel so honored that we got to be the ones to capture it all for Meghan and Ben. We have so many favorites that made it so hard to narrow down, but here’s a little look of one heck of an incredible time!
