Paradise Valley, Arizona
Located in Paradise Valley, Arizona, El Chorro is one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Scottsdale's luxury wedding market. El Chorro was originally built in 1934 as a school, was later developed into a restaurant, and now serves as part restaurant, part wedding venue with some of the most gorgeous views and delicious food in the city. This historic property is known for its majestic desert views, excellence in service, and authentic upscale cuisine. One of the biggest draws for couples to El Chorro is the diversity of ceremony and reception options. Whether you're looking for an intimate, romantic space, or a larger, jaw-dropping background, the rich history and location of El Chorro has it all.
The Herb Garden is another amazing option for intimate ceremonies and receptions. Surrounded by citrus trees with an al fresco vibe, the rustic charm of the elegant Herb Garden is often paired with the Classroom Lawn for more intimate weddings. The Herb Garden accommodates 100 seated guests or a cocktail reception setting for up to 80 guests.
Herb Garden
The Classroom Bar & Bocce Lawn serves couples who prefer a more intimate ceremony space. With a southwestern style fireplace as the central focus, this unique, indoor-outdoor space can hold 100 guests for a seated meal. It is often paired with the vibrant Herb Garden for an elegant wedding experience.
The Classroom Bar & Bocce Lawn
Adjacent to the event lawn is the Casa Paloma pavilion-style reception space, which can host 300 guests for a sit-down dinner, or 100-250 guests with a full stage and dance floor. The wood-framed glass doors open onto a dreamy patio and lush garden. It also has an adjoining bridal dressing room for the bride and bridesmaids to use before the ceremony and during the reception.
Casa Paloma
The 5,800 square foot Main Event Lawn is perfect for couples with large guest lists who want a dramatic backdrop for their ceremony with gorgeous Arizona mountains framing a more traditional paved altar. The event lawn pairs perfectly with the adjacent indoor Casa Paloma space. When the weather permits, the main event lawn can be transformed into an outdoor reception, too.

Lindsay & Erik’s Blue Delft
El Chorro Wedding
From the ceramic blue and white delft decor to the hanging florals, Lindsay & Erik's wedding was one of the most unique designs to photograph! The blue and green florals paired perfectly with the delft accents. Their reception design was like a living garden with hanging florals, lanterns and candles all around.
With a French blue and desert hue color palette, Ali & Joel's wedding day perfectly complemented the desert backdrop of El Chorro. The ceremony and reception spaces were transformed into dreamy lush desert gardens with vibrant pops of fuchsia and a stunning bed of pastel rose petals. Every detail intricately brought their love to life.

El Chorro Wedding
Ashley & Scott's wedding day at El Chorro was designed using gorgeous blush and ivory floral to create a ceremony arch like nothing we’ve ever seen before. We can’t even begin to describe the overflowing ceiling florals in the reception. It was like the most perfect garden was brought inside just to celebrate Ashley and Scott.

BLUSH El Chorro Wedding
Located at 5550 E Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley, Arizona 85253, El Chorro is positioned between the Camelback and Mummy mountains, giving you breathtaking views of all the natural beauty Arizona has to offer. El Chorro offers plenty of on site parking for guests adjacent to each venue space.
El Chorro does not include a hotel on the property, so most of our couples love staying and getting ready at some of the valley’s nearby top resorts and hotels. Mountain Shadows, Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, and the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort are a few of the preferred local accommodations. If couples are looking for options to reserve hotel blocks for their guests, the Residence Inn and Embassy Suites are great nearby hotels.
