At the end of every year, we have a tradition of going back through all of our images, and picking out some our very favorites to encapsulate the best moments of our weddings, engagements, anniversaries and maternity sessions. As you can imagine, it takes a looooooong time to comb through the thousands upon thousands of images we take throughout a year, but it’s always such a fun way to look back and reflect on everything the year brought, and by the time we’re finished with it, we’re always so glad we took the time to do it. Plus, there’s nothing more fun that getting to look back on past years and have all the memories come right back!

This year brought us back to a few of our favorite wedding venues (that feel like home at this point!) like the gorgeous El Chorro, the breathtaking Four Seasons Scottsdale, the elegant Omni Montelucia and the regal Royal Palms. This year also brought us to some brand new venues that we’ve never photographed before like the beautiful Blackstone Country Club, the enchanting Encanterra Country Club and the picturesque McCormick Home Ranch, along with some beautiful private residences.
And speaking of gorgeous destinations, another highlight of this year was definitely getting to photograph a surprise in proposal in Paris! Getting to take engagement photos all throughout the city was a total bucket list item and one we’ll never forget. Even though we spent a lot more time shooting in our desert home this year than in years prior, we hit a few other fun out-of-town portrait spots this year too, like St. Simons Island in Georgia and Washington D.C.
Looking back on all these images always makes us feel so thankful. As wedding photographers, there’s really nothing better than being trusted by so many incredible couples to capture one of the biggest days of their lives, and every year that goes by just has us feeling more and more grateful that we get to do what we love together, and serve couples who make this job the best one in the world.
