One of our favorite parts of every week this year is Monday.
Why?
In our Shooting & Editing Course private Facebook group, we do a little something called Makeover Monday, where over two thousand of our course students share their favorite before and after photos. It’s so exciting to see how much they’ve grown in such a short period of time. And it’s equally encouraging for the students who’ve just joined to see what they have to look forward to. As teachers, to say that Mondays have been a celebration at our house would be QUITE the understatement. Because there’s nothing quite like seeing hard working students succeed.
However, we realized recently that while two thousand of us have been celebrating every few weeks for the past few months, since the Facebook group is exclusively for our course students, YOU haven’t been able to join in on the fun.
Today, that changes, because if you’re anything like us, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a photographer, weight loss coach or home renovator. Whether you watch The Biggest Loser or Fixer Upper. Seeing real, powerful, life-changing transformation (of any kind) is something that has the potential to elevate, motivate and inspire us all.
So, once a month on a Mondays, we’ll be sharing some of our favorite before and after photos from the online course students that we’ve never met in person (but feel like we know and just want to hug through the screen!)because we’re so proud of the commitment and investment they made in themselves just months ago (or less) and the harvest of progress they’re reaping as a result. Enjoy!
p.s. To our dear course students, thank you for sharing your hearts with us and others every week in our group. You’ve made our little corner of the Internet one of the safest, warmest, most helpful, supportive and welcome place on the Internet. We had an impossible time choosing just ten before and afters — because there were SO many good ones to choose from. You guys are killing it. Keep it up, friends!
