It was New Year’s Eve night. Just a few weeks ago. She stood on her front porch. He was there, too.
She moved a lot as a child — ten schools by high school — but settled on one university: the one he went to. It was Parents Weekend (of all weekends) when she caught his eye for the first time. She’d be the last he’d ever lay eyes on.
Back to the cool night. Back to the Arizona desert. Back to the last place she’d called home before that sophomore year of college changed the trajectory of her life. And his. Forever. It was about time for the fireworks to explode. Time for the crystal ball to drop. When he dropped. To one knee. He grabbed her hand, looked up into her eyes, and with the stars as their witnesses, he asked her… to be his wife.
With the stars as their witnesses,
he asked her… to be his wife.
And over and over again, they responded (with smiles), and giggled, “We’d be doing this anyways.”
We believe that one-hundred percent.
Meghan and Chris, you two couldn’t have been sweeter or more kind. Thank you for bringing joyfulness by the bucket-loads to your engagement session. From the moment it started, we didn’t want it to end. Thankfully, we get you two in front of our cameras again at one of our favorite venues in the world this fall — The Four Seasons — with one of our favorite wedding planners in town, Whitney Lewis from Some Like It Classic. Just make sure to save some smiles for us between now and then, okay? On second thought, we don’t think that’ll be a problem at all. You two have got an endless supply. We love you both with the same-sized buckets your smiles come in! How could we not? Here are a few of our favorite highlights from our time together. And believe us, it was hard to choose!
