Katie and Wesley have something special. A love that knows no limits. The kind of love in its raw, purest form that’s so strong it’s practically tangible. A desire to serve one another, constantly put the other first and build a life that is honorable and noble. One where their light shines more brightly together than it ever could apart.
During Katie’s vows, she looked straight into Wesley’s eyes and told him that she’d been praying for him long before she ever met him. Praying for her husband, and trusting God would one day bring her the man of her dreams. But what she found in Wesley was someone better than she ever could’ve dreamed up herself. And as we listened to this, tears filled our eyes, because we only needed to spend a few minutes with them to know we couldn’t agree more. Katie and Wesley were just made for each other.
We’ve always heard about southern charm and hospitality, but we’ve never felt it quite like this before. Amidst a sea of sweet southern accents and a chorus of “ya’ll’s,” Katie and Wesley’s wedding was full of so much kindness and warmth that we felt spoiled to be a part of it. They and their families truly made us feel like honorary members of the family for the day, and we loved every minute of our time with them.
