Michelle and Evan were so much fun to shoot. I can’t wait for their wedding day! Not only were they extremely laid back and down to earth, they put up with all my shenanigans. From running like mad to catch the sun peeking through the clouds, to asking them to forge the steepest hill on the property, they were all in. I was so excited to be capturing these two that I was not at all concerned with my surrounding environment, and managed to trip over just about every solid object possible mid-shoot. Needless to say, there was a lot of laughter. Within our engagement session, Evan’s shoe snapped, Michelle gracefully braved some pretty darn steep hills (in heels, I might add) and I successfully fell off a cowboy fence as I was trying to grab the perfect angle for a shot. Despite all this, Michelle and Evan still managed to be as romantic and sweet as ever. I envisioned them here as I was scouting, but didn’t factor in their ability to be the world’s cutest snugglers. I could have shot all night. They are really beautiful together, and I am so honored to be shooting their wedding next March. For more images from our session, view the slideshow here.
