It’s here! The post that quite possibly crashed our server by the sheer number of images packed into it! It’s safe to say our web hosting company probably has a big picture of us hanging up in their office with a big “X” drawn over our faces at this point, but we’re completely okay with that! Because it means our Best of 2014 Weddings post is live!
This week or two of end-of-the-year review posts is always our favorite time for our blog each year. We get to slow down long enough to look through all of the images we’ve taken over the past year and reflect on how special this job really is. And how it is so much bigger than us. We remember what wedding photographers do at the core. We get to preserve a couple’s first moments together as husband and wife and help tell their love story, which will, one day, outlast them and continue to make an impact long after we’re gone. We believe that a legacy of love, generational love, an inheritance of love passed from one family to the next, has the power to transform marriages, and therefore, entire family trees. We get to tell those stories. We get to capture joy and preserve it. We get to make an impact that is so much bigger than us.
When we look though all of the wedding images we’ve taken this past year, we get emotional. We just feel so overwhelmed with gratefulness. We’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people over the last year, both clients and creative professionals on inspirational shoots and weddings, that have made our heart skip a beat, and we’re so excited to share our favorites with you today! Thank you, friends, for going on this journey with us the last year!
