They went to San Francisco for the weekend with some of their closest friends. They strolled through the lush green park that hugged the water of the San Francisco Bay. The air was cool and the breeze was light. As they all approached the Golden Gate Bridge, a friend offered to take a picture for Jena and Chris. You know, for their memories. She didn’t think anything of it. Why would she? Chris wasn’t the one who asked for the photo op. Their friend beckoned them toward the bridge so it’d be perfectly in the background. Photo after photo, Jena and Chris stood next to each other, alternating between looking at the camera and peeking over at each other. Every time, he was still there. Every time, she was there, too. Until the time Jena looked to her side and Chris wasn’t there anymore. She saw the bridge and could see the water. She still felt the breeze. But no Chris, because he was down on one knee, asking a question she didn’t see coming but felt so right, “Will you marry me?”
Jena and Chris, from the moment we sat down together for the first time, we weren’t sure we could work with you, because our guts couldn’t handle laughing that much in one sitting, let alone an entire wedding day. You two are so cute together, so much fun, and, at your engagement session, another reminder of why we love what we do so much: couples like you. We love your photos so much that it was almost impossible what to choose for our blog, but here are some of our favorites from our time together!
